Get to know our Village to Village Network Staff!
As the Director of Village to Village Network Ms. Galucia is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Network. Ms. Galucia has a background in social work and a passion for working with older adults. She started her education at Concordia University in Wisconsin where she received her BSW in 2010. Ms. Galucia then received her Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis in May of 2012. At Washington University, she concentrated in Gerontology with an emphasis on policy. During her MSW program, she completed an internship in Washington, DC with Age4Action Network as a policy intern working on the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act. Ms. Galucia started her career with Village to Village Network as Member Services Coordinator in 2012. She now resides in St. Louis, Mo. and sits Ex Officio on the STL Village board.
Member Services Coordinator
Nisha has a background in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a concentration in Health and Diversity. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2015. Nisha started as the Village to Village Network Member Services Coordinator in August of 2015. She helps with day-to-day responsibilities of the Network and corresponds directly with members to assist them with anything they need. She helps with updates to membership through email and newsletter as well as coordinates webinars and many other resources for Villages. Nisha is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and currently resides in St. Louis, Mo.
Travis Mowers has worked in communications positions for more than a decade. Most recently he worked as the communications coordinator for the Center for Plant Conservation at the Missouri Botanical Garden, helping to prevent the extinction of rare and imperiled native plants. Travis maintained the website and social media presence of the Center and produced many print and digital pieces for both internal and external audiences. Prior to working at the Garden, Travis worked for an electric cooperative in rural Missouri and produced four pages of the Rural Missouri Magazine for Crawford Electric Cooperative.
Travis is a US Air Force Veteran of the first Gulf War and did a tour in Saudi Arabia as an aviation fuels specialist.
He has a BA in interactive media from Webster University and currently lives in Maplewood, Mo.
