The Ever Growing National Village Movement!
Villages Take Charge of Village to Village Network

In two recent steps, the member villages have assumed control of the Village to Village Network.  The Network was originally created in 2010 through a partnership between Beacon Hill Village (BHV) and another nonprofit, Capital Impact Partners (CIP) and was soon offering aspiring and existing Villages both day-to-day technical assistance and the extraordinary resource of an annual gathering.  Over 200 Villages are part of the Network today.  At the end of 2014, CIP withdrew from the partnership after two new villages, Monadnock at Home (New Hampshire) and STL Village (Missouri) joined BHV.  To ensure broad and easy participation of many more villages in managing the Network and planning for the future, the partnership, formerly a Limited Liability Company (LLC) was converted on March 9, 2015 to the more familiar form of a corporation, named Village to Village Network, Inc.
A successful first meeting of the corporation's new board of directors was held March 13-15 at the Network's new St. Louis offices.  All twelve directors have close grassroots ties to local Network Villages:  nine are officers or directors in their own Villages, two are current Village executive directors, and one just recently retired as a Village executive director.  The new VtV Network, Inc. directors (with local affiliations) are:
